This is a stylized logo based on a shield found in North America. This design caught my eye after I discovered it on a website about mythos. The description that came with it definitely attracted me. The shield spoke to me so well I found that it represented me and my quest to make great designs (as well as a providing a great hosting service).

If I can recall the description in my own words:  the eye on the hand represents a warrior of knowledge, or at least, knowledge of our gift to hold sight. The two rattlesnakes tied around each other, surrounding the eye-in-hand, represent the fire of chaos that is all around us and is waiting to leap out and bite us. Tying of the rattlesnakes may represent a sacred duality between opposing forces (nature) and the eye-in-hand (Humans) being surrounded by that duality, represents our inability to escape it but know that it is there and be ready for it. The fact that the image was printed on a shield-like object re-affirms the protection power of this glyph.
