SF Word Camp 2009

Wow! Word Camp was a lot of fun! I’m so happy I was able to get there with @WynGalbraith and see quite a few powerful speakers. We learned so much I needed to take the night off before I started this blog! I was there representing FOREVERSEND.COM and I had the pleasure of talking with many hip individuals about our experience with WordPress. There was a fellow there, later in the day, I ran into. Well I almost tripped over his son whom probably was only a year old but already a blogger I suspect. The man’s name was Loyd and I suspect he was someone smart ’cause later I saw him in the Genius Bar, which you can see an aerial view of in the picture to the left.  It was actually far more crowded around the conference rooms that is depicted in this picture. Quite a place to be! So much synergy in the air. Wyn and I toured the floors as we went from one speaker to the next. There was plenty of food and I was, of course, hounding down the Peet’s coffee. We can talk about coffee later. I found it a very comfortable atmosphere and with so many bloggers wired for WordPress it was our kind of territory. (continue reading…)

Oh my!

Here I am. I have always been here but this is my official emergence into WordPress blogging. For a while now I have been involved in making themes that are compatible with WordPress. I will be attending the WordCamp in San Francisco this May 30th, 2009.

Consider this: You buy tickets to the conference that is WordCamp and attend it so we can meet and go over doings of WordPress. Sound good?

Also if you folks are interested, the night before this event, on May 29th, I am going to be in Forestville, California with my band Forever’s End. I would appreciate if you attend. Its $8 at the door, 21 and up. Please come and talk to me if you decide to come and it’s always fun to bring a friend. I promise I will play my guitar for you and sing my heart out along with Mr. Hyde, METAL, Jamn, and myself. The sound for the evening will be done by our good friend Sean Michael Roads whom I’m very proud of and hope to be the fifth member of my band that we’ve been missing all these years. Really man, where have you been all my life.

Enough with the mushy stuff, let’s rock this joint. Hey, if you are curious what my band sounds like you may be able to still find songs online. I want to warn you though, they may disappear as we perfect and finish albums we can tour on towards the end of this year. Thank you for being patient everyone while we kick the doors off 2009! Oh and stay tuned to the Forever’s End Calendar for show dates!
